Writing Sprints, Day Two

I forgot to post a link yesterday. We (the Tyler Public Library Writing Club – aka Open Door Writing Group) are sprinting in the global sprint at myWriteClub. Today I sprinted off and on for another 8 hours and got 7,496 words. Caro’s Quest Chapter 7 rewrite got done yesterday and Chapter 8’s rewrite got done today. This has been fun!

Writing Sprints with the TPLWC

This month at the TPLWC, we are doing writing sprints instead of writing lessons. We’re all tired and trying to rest up before NaNoWriMo starts. Today is my first day sprinting. Let’s see how it goes!

I spent pretty much all day sprinting, off and on, and I got 7,916 words in! Yay me!

I've been spending time recently giving my Rusk County Poetry Society a new website and social media profiles. :) It's been a lot of work, but it'll be fun seeing if it helps draw in some new people. :) Hey y'all! I'm talking about Writing Subplots at Open Door Writing Group today! Same Bat Time, Same Bat Channel! Hope to see you soon! I hadn't noticed because I was posting from Canva and it's all been going to my personal profile, which I was getting likes on, so my brain thought it was all going swimmingly. 😂 My weekend plan :) I’ll be participating here! I'll be returning to the Tyler Public Library on Thursday, June 26th to teach Crochet Basics in the 1st floor auditorium starting at 7pm. The class is technically already full (so I've also agreed to teach it again in the fall sometime), but there's a waitlist available. This Wednesday from 1-3pm in the 3rd floor Makerspace at the Tyler Public Library, I will present my lesson on "Writing Villains". Hope to see you there! Tomorrow is the first meeting of the Wildflower Poetry Society. We're meeting in the auditorium at the Tyler Public Library at 2pm. Hope to see you there! As requested in last week's Open Door Writing Group lesson, today I'll be leading a discussion and talking about poetry! Come on out, it'll be fun! 🙂 We meet from 1-3pm in the Makerspace on the third floor at the Tyler Public Library - 201 S. College Ave, Tyler, Texas.
